Incubation Centre – RRCAT
Facilities Available:
Fiber Bragg Grating Inscription Facility
Introduction
RRCAT has developed an indigenous Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) inscription facility. During last 4 years, FBG fabricated using this facility have been successfully tested for various applications, like- temperature sensing, strain sensing, etc. The facility is being used for various in-house research and development work. The facility can be utilized on chargeable basis for inscription of FBGs for various sensing applications including temperature, vibration, strain, chemical, etc. as per design/requirement of Indian industry and other Indian users.
