Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), a premier R&D institute under Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is working in the areas of development and applications of lasers, particle accelerators and related technologies. The activities pursued at RRCAT have resulted in significant development in various advanced technological areas. The technologies developed have very good potential applications in industries and many technologies are transferred to industries for commercial utilization. These research and development activities at RRCAT also generated a large pool of experts working in various areas of advanced technologies. The Incubation Centre at RRCAT (IC-RRCAT) is established to provide a suitable platform for mentorship to the business incubates, start ups and other industries which are interested in working in the selected high technology areas.

Incubation Centre – RRCAT

The core strengths of RRCAT leveraging IC-RRCAT are:

  • A large pool of experts working in various areas of advanced technologies, like lasers, power electronics, RF, vacuum, magnets, cryogenics, superconducting cavities, synchrotron beamlines, computer systems and IT, etc.

  • High end infrastructure for mechanical fabrication.

  • Test and measuring instruments in the areas of electronics/ RF/ vacuum and cryogenics.
