| Accelerator Ramping Power Converter Section (ARPCS) |

Design and development of power converters for Indian electron accelerators based on Linear, Switch-mode, Soft-switching, Thyristorized Phase-control, and Pulsed technologies (thyratron switching). ARPCS is also involved in the development of Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Field programmable Gate Array (FPGA) controlled power converters.
Additionally, the team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of DC/Ramping magnet power supplies of Indus accelerators, with ratings that go as high as one megawatt, Power Conditioning Systems, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Smoke Exhaust Systems, Public Address Systems, etc. of Indus accelerator complex.
