Successful Technology Transfer: Empowering Innovation in Fire Safety and Power Systems

In a significant stride towards advancing technological innovation and promoting indigenous expertise, three cutting-edge technologies have been successfully transferred to prominent Indian companies, heralding a new era in fire safety and power systems. The technologies, namely, Agni Rakshak - Raman Optical Fiber Based Distributed Fire Sensor System, High-stability, Current-controlled, Card-based, True-bipolar, Switch-mode Power Converter for Electromagnets, and High-stability, Current-controlled, Card-based, Unipolar, Switch-mode Power Converter for Electromagnets, have been entrusted to leading firms in their respective fields, driving the nation's progress towards a safer and more efficient future.

The first technology, the Agni Rakshak - Raman Optical Fiber Based Distributed Fire Sensor System, has been transferred to Tempsens Instruments (I) Pvt. Ltd., a pioneering company based in Udaipur. Tempsens Instruments (I) Pvt. Ltd, incorporated in the year 1976, is a renowned Manufacturer, Exporter, and Supplier of Thermocouples, Resistance Temperature Detectors, Drilled Bar Stock Thermowells, Special Thermowells, Calibration Equipment, Electrical Cables, Lead Wires, Insulated Sleeves, etc.  This Agni Rakshak technology represents a breakthrough in fire safety solutions, utilizing state-of-the-art Raman optical fiber technology to detect and prevent fires in a distributed manner, ensuring enhanced coverage and real-time alerts. With this transfer, Tempsens Instruments is poised to revolutionize fire safety measures, safeguarding lives, and assets more effectively than ever before. It may be noted that Tempsens becomes the fifth firm to acquire the license of Agni Rakshak.
