Scientific information resources of SIRC supports R&D activities of the center(RRCAT) and it's principal subject areas reflect center's research programmes in Particle Accelerators & Lasers. The information resources also includes related areas in Physics and Engineering.

SIRC is an invaluable knowledge resource for scientists, engineers, researchers, faculties and students of the center. SIRC built a robust collection of around twelve thousand books and e-Books in specialized subject areas related to Laser Science & Particle Accelerator Physics. It subscribes to around one hundred twenty five international & national journals related to these two subject areas. Around two thousand seven hundred e-Journals from well known international publishers like Elsevier, IEEE, IOP, OSA, APS, AIP, SPIE, Springer, Wiley etc are accessible online. For literature search & citation analysis, SIRC subscribes to the citation database Web-of-Science. Digital collections of e-Internal Reports, e-Jouranl Articles, e-Conference Papers, e-Thesis, e-Project Reports, e-Newspaper Clippings, Digital-Photographs, Digital-Videos and Digital-Educational Audio Visual Coursewares are accessible through institutional digital repository of SIRC.
