- Microtrons
A 20 MeV microtron is used as injector to the Indus synchrotron complex. First microtron for this purpose was commissioned in 1994. A new injector microtron with improved design was commissioned in 2017.

Microtron for Mangalore University –
An 8 MeV microtron was supplied in 1995 and it has been working at the Mangalore University since then. The microtron has been used for irradiation experiments for a large number of institutions.

Improved designs for Microtrons –
Several design improvements in the microtron have been successfully done. These include higher repeatability of beam performance, increase in cathode life, improved magnetic coil designs and introduction of beam probes for diagnostics of beam orbits. |
