Power Converters Developed by HVSS

Ongoing Activities at HVSS

a) Design and development of high stability (≤ 50 ppm), 10V/250A, CC superconducting wavelength shifter magnet power supply for Indus-2.

b) Design and development of compact, bipolar programmable scanning magnet power supply with segmented ramp up and fast ramp down (< 2 ms) for 10 MeV high power linacs for industrial & medical applications.

c) Design and development of 3kw single phase active PFC pre-regulator for dc-dc switch mode power converters.
