HAZOP study for new processes and existing processes due for upgradation

A Preventive approach, A hazard and operability study (HAZOP) is a structured and systematic examination of a planned or existing process or operation in order to identify and evaluate problems that may represent risks to personnel or equipment, or prevent efficient operation.

The study brings out the risks, hazards & process shortcomings, deviation from the normal operation of a variable or parameter of the related system.
