Photoluminescence setup at BARC Spectroscopy Lab RRCAT, Indore

The setup shown in the above figure has been commissioned by coupling the cryocooler developed by CCDS to a specrofluorometer of Jobin-Vyon make (Model no- Fluoromax-3). Using this setup photoluminescence spectra of solid samples can be performed in the temperature range of 40 to 300K. A heater also is attached to the sample holder to perform the PL measurements up to 100°C.

This cryocooler has already registered more than 600 operating hours.
