Honourable Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh Visited RRCAT on 17th December 2005

PM RRCAT VISIT

       Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh visited the centre on 17th December 2005. He dedicated the 2.5 GeV Synchrotron Radiation Source - INDUS-2 to the nation and also renamed the centre as Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology in memory of eminent scientist and former chairman of Atomic Energy Commission, Dr. Raja Ramanna.
