The symposium will be held in department of Physics, IIT Madras campus. The information of the auditorium/conference hall will be updated soon. The IITM campus is located in the city of Chennai, previously known as Madras. It is a residential institution with self contained campus of about 600 acres located in a beautiful wooded land with flora and fauna. The IITM campus is at a distance of 12 km from the airport and 15 km from the city railway station.

The accommodation of the participants will be arranged by the Organizing Committee at the nominal rates in the various guest houses, hostels and residential houses and hotels in and around IITM campus. The participants should mention their dates of arrival and departure and choice of accommodation in the registration form to avoid any inconveniences. The last date for receiving the registration form is Nov 2, 2009.

The weather in Chennai, during the conference time is expected to be pleasant with temperatures ranging from 22 - 26°C.
