Registration
Submission of an abstract does not automatically insure registration for
the conference. Authors are required to register for the
conference. Participants can register for the conference by sending
the dually filled registration form in enclosed format
(Registration
Form)
to Convener Organizing committee by post at the following
address. Participants can also remit the registration fee (as
per below details) in advance by sending a DD in favor of "PLD2009" payable at
SBI, IIT campus, Chennai along with the registration form.
The last date for receiving the conference registration along
with the registration fee is Nov 2, 2009. Please note that
registration at the time and venue of the conference is also
possible. However in that case the prior intimation about the
participation and accommodation through the registration form is
mandatory.

Fee
covers admission to all Conference sessions, a Conference
program & abstracts booklet, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners
etc.
Financial Assistance
Students may apply for financial assistance to participate in
the symposium if they are unable to get the same from their own
institutes. The financial assistance may be limited to the
return train
fare in sleeper class and/or local hospitality. Please send
your application for the financial support along with an estimate of the train fair
by shortest route and a letter of recommendation from the head
of your department / research advisor clearly stating that no
financial grant is available from the
institution for attending the symposium. A note may also be
provided that why it is important for the student to attend the
symposium. Financial support will be available to only those
students who will be making at lest one presentation (paper or
thesis) at the symposium. Please send the
application through email to the secretary, organizing committee, PLD-2009
at the following address latest by November 02, 2009. Alternatively
the application may also be sent by post at following address
