Abstract Submission:

Researchers, professionals, young scientists and scholars are encouraged to submit one page abstract of their recent results from the research work pertinent to Pulsed Laser Deposition and related phenomenon and participate in PLD-2007. The abstract may be submitted through an attachment to an email addressed to secretary, scientific Program Committee, PLD-2007 at the following email id: pmisra@rrcat.gov.in with a copy to pld@physics.unipune.in. Alternatively, a hard copy of the abstract along with it's electronic version in floppy/CD  can be send to the secretary, technical program committee (see contact details) directly by post. However the electronic submission is the preferred mode of abstract submission. The technical program committee will make final decision about whether your abstract will be accepted as oral or poster presentations, with consideration to be given to the authors' preference. Overhead and Multimedia projectors will be made available for oral presentations. An area of l m x 1 m will be provided for each poster presentation.

Guidelines for Preparing the Abstract :

The abstract should be typed in good English on a paper size A4 (210 mm x 297 mm) leaving 25 mm margin on all sides in Times New Roman font. Title of the paper should be bold in font size 12 (do not underline). Authors’ names with initials should be typed  one space below the title in font size 10. It should be followed by affiliations of all authors and e-mail address of the corresponding author. All matter should be centered. The text should start two spaces below the address (normal font size 10, justified in single line spacing). Figures and Tables should be suitably reduced and placed at appropriate places with numbers and captions below them. References, if any, should be given in the text as superscripts, numbered according to their occurrences (e.g. 1,2,3 etc) and listed at the end, leaving a single line spacing after the text. Please adhere strictly to these guidelines.

Accepted abstracts will be printed in the Book of Abstracts that will be distributed at the time of Conference. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission. Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration for the conference.
