NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

Tender Notice No: RRCAT/AC/2007/25

      Sealed tenders are invited on behalf of the President of India by the   Suptd.Engineer (AC & Elect.), Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: RRCAT, Indore – 452 013 (M.P.) from reputed contractors for the following work, who have not incurred loss in more than two years during the last five financial years for the given below

Description of work

Service/Maintenance contract for two years of Centrifugal pump set & valves of various pump house at RRCAT, Indore.

 

Estimated Cost

Rs. 1,36,283=00

 

Earnest Money Deposit

Rs. 2,726=00

 

Period allowed for completion of work

24 Months

 

Cost of Tender documents

Rs. 500=00 ( Five hundred only )

 

Last date of receipt of application for considering issue of tender.

2.      Tender documents for the above work can be had from the office of Suptd. Engineer (AC & Elect.) Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: RRCAT, Indore-452013 on written request on any working day between 10.00 hrs. and 16.00 hrs. From   26.11.2007  to 13.12.2007    on production of (a) bank solvency certificate.  (b) List with evidence of similar works in hand and completed in last five years (c) performance certificate (d) list of plant and machinery (e) list of staff they possess. After examining these documents, blank tender forms shall be issued only to the firm prima-facie found competent to carry out the tendered job. Sale of Tender/opening of Tender does not imply acceptance/approval.  Tender documents shall not be issued by post. For purchase or submission of tender documents, Contractor or his authorized representative shall bring Identity card such as PAN Card or Driving License or Photo Identity card issued by the Election Commission.

 

3.       Only such contractor shall be eligible for issue of tender documents whose annual turnover of last three years ending 31st March, is not less than 40% of estimated cost of work, solvency is not less than 40% of the estimated cost and who have satisfactorily completed three similar works costing not less than 40% of estimated cost or two similar works costing not less than 50% of estimated cost or one similar work costing not less than 80% of estimated cost.  The similar work would means Experience in

 

4.       Tenders will be received only in the Office of the undersigned   up to 1500 hrs. on 14.12.2007  and will be opened on the same day at 1530 hrs. in the presence of the attending tenderers.

 

5.      For Submission of the tender following shall be noted:

As mentioned in the tender documents Earnest money & tender documents should be kept in separate sealed envelops clearly superscripted with their respective contents.  These two sealed envelopes should be kept in big sealed envelope clearly indicating Tender No. & Name of work.

 

6.      TENDERS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY THE FOLLOWING ARE LIABLE TO BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.

The earnest money mentioned above shall be submitted in the form of Fixed deposit receipt/Deposit call    receipt/Crossed demand draft of a Scheduled Bank guaranteed by the Reserve Bank of India, in favor of Pay and Accounts Officer, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: RRCAT, Indore 452 013 (MP).

NOTE: Cheques & Bank guarantees for earnest money deposit will not be accepted.

 

7.      Suptd.Engineer,(AC & Elect.) Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technlogy (RRCAT), PO: RRCAT, Indore – 452 013 MP reserves the right to reject any or all tenders or to award parts of the works to different agencies without assigning any reason thereof.
