NOTICE INVITING TENDERS
Tender Notice No: CAT/E/2005/17Date. 11.11.2005
 

      Sealed item rate tenders in the prescribed form are hereby invited on behalf of the President of India by the Chief Engineer, CAT, Centre for Advanced Technology, PO :CAT, Indore- 452 013 for the following work at CAT, Indore. from contractors on the approved lists of Central P.W.D., M.E.S., Railways, State P.W.Ds. and those having adequate experience for the following works.

Description of workOperation & Maintenance of 132/11 KV Main Receiving Substation at CAT, Indore.
(Tenders are Invited in to Bids Part-I and Part-II. Part-I will be be opened on 19-Dec-2005.
Pre bid meeting will be held on 15-Dec-2005 at 15.00hrs. Part-II shall be subject to short listing of the bidders after technical evaluation of works carried out by the bidders. )

Tender documents for the above work can be had from the office of Chief Engineer, CAT, Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: CAT, Indore-452013 on written request on any working day between 10.00 hrs. and 16.00 hrs. from 21.11.2005 to 12.12.2005 on production of


Tenders will be received only in the Office of the Chief Engineer, CAT,Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: CAT, Indore - 452 013 M.P. up to 1500 hrs. on 19.12.2005 and will be opened on the same day at 1530 hrs. in the presence of the attending tenderers.


Earnest money deposit in the form as stipulated in the tender documents should be enclosed along with the tender in a separate sealed envelope.

TENDERS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY THE FOLLOWING ARE LIABLE TO BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.

(i) ) The earnest money mentioned above shall be submitted in the form of Fixed deposit receipt/Deposit call receipt/Crossed demand draft of a Scheduled Bank guaranteed by the Reserve Bank of India, in favor of Pay and Accounts Officer, Centre for Advanced Technology, PO: CAT, Indore 452 013 (MP).
Cheques & Bank guarantees for earnest money deposit will not be accepted.

(ii) In the case of contractors in the approved list of PWDs. , CPWD., or MES, evidence showing the appropriate and eligible class to which they belong and/or proof of experience in carrying out similar works.


Chief Engineer, CAT, Centre for Advanced Technology (CAT), Indore 452 013, reserves the right to reject any or all tenders or to allot part of the works to different agencies without assigning any reason whatsoever.
