Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore, in collaboration with Indian Society for Radiation and Photochemical Sciences is organizing the DAE-BRNS Theme Meeting on Ultrafast Science 2018 (UFS-2018) during October 22-24, 2018 . The Theme Meeting is sponsored by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy.

This series of theme meetings started in 2013 and is now an annual event. It is the only platform in the country which brings together the rapidly growing community of researchers working in ultrafast science and technology. A conscious effort is made to facilitate interaction between experts and young researchers on one hand and between basic and applied scientists on the other. The main topics for the theme meeting are designed to include a wide range of subjects involving both fundamental aspects as well as the applications of ultrafast techniques in science and technology.

The UFS-2018 organizing committee cordially invites all the scientists, engineers, and young researchers engaged in the basic and applied research in the broad areas of Ultrafast Science and related fields, to participate in the forthcoming theme meeting.
