Posters

Posters explaining the projects carried out during the current plan period are invited from IT professionals of DAE. Posters selected by a panel of experts will be given an opportunity for oral presentation during the meet. All posters received will be displayed during the meet.

Kindly Note:

  • Last date for submission of poster is 10th November 2010.
  • Kindly mail (daevie2010@rrcat.gov.in) one/two page write up on the poster for consideration of expert committee to select poster for oral presentations.


In order to efficiently communicate the results of your development and research to the viewers, you are kindly requested to devote considerable effort in the design of your poster. Please pay attention to details by carefully following the guidelines hereby outlined.

  • The dimensions of your poster should not exceed 841mm across x 1189mm in length (A0 Paper Size).
  • Avoid putting too much material and text on the poster.
  • The heading should have letters at least 35mm high listing the title of the paper, authors, institution and its location. If necessary, please shorten the heading.
  • Lettering for text and illustrations should be at least 10mm high.
  • (Optionally) Divide your poster into Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions.
  • Results/findings should be presented as graphs or tables. They should be self-explanatory and therefore please provide a clear legend including symbols.
  • The discussion (if necessary), implementation and conclusions should be succinctly stated on large type. Many viewers read this first, hence it should be easy to understand.
  • Your poster will be displayed for the entire duration of the conference. There will be a poster session, and you are asked to be present at your poster for the duration of the session.
